Jonathan Staso
Leadership
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and working a stint in investment banking, Jonathan joined Huckestein in 2014 as controller and was promoted to President / CFO in 2017.
Under his leadership, by 2019 the company saw 5-year revenue growth of over 300% while profit margin doubled. In December of 2019 he oversaw the sale of Huckestein Mechanical to Service Logic and has remained in his role as President since.
Post acquisition, he led the organic creation of Huckestein’s sister BAS division, CMS-Controls Pittsburgh. CMS-Controls has become one of the foremost BAS businesses in Pittsburgh. He also integrated two acquisitions, SJ-2 Mechanical and Reno Bros Mechanical, successfully into Huckestein. These acquisitions not only brought excellent personnel and customers but expanded Huckestein’s portfolio of offerings to include in-house sheet metal and plumbing.
Under Jonathan’s leadership, as of 2024, Huckestein’s revenue has grown over 350% since being acquired.
