We engage in a robust safety program with our partner RETTEW, and we have never been cited by OSHA for a safety violation.
We are commitment to an accident-free workplace. Our in-house safety committee, led by our President, meets monthly to review practices, conduct training, perform job-site safety audits, and issue policies to ensure that every employee goes home safe and healthy at the end of each day.
Huckestein is in full compliance with the new OSHA Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals. Every one of our technicians has an application on their smart phone to immediately access Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for any material or chemical they encounter during the performance of their work. We subscribe to SDS BinderWorks for continual updates to the SDS inventory relevant to our industry.
Every employee receives a copy of our safety manual upon hire, and must read and sign off on it prior to starting work. In addition, every employee must complete OSHA 10 training and specific training relevant to the work scope before beginning any job. The hiring/project manager is responsible for ensuring all safety requirements are met for the personnel on his/her project.
Weekly Toolbox Talk meetings are held on every job-site, as well as monthly job-site safety audits.Safety is your number one priority too.
